The following Excel worksheets are to be used for reporting results from freediving competitions to the Global Freediving Ranking as well as to the official ranking of AIDA International. They include macros for direct submitting of the results to the ranking server, which can be used during the competition for live reporting. The worksheet can be also used for organizing a competition. They include error proofing, and simplify the data entry as much as possible. They include also algorithms for the ranking in individual disciplines, as well as in the combination, fully conform to the complex sorting algorithm required by the rules of AIDA International.
In the same time, the worksheet supports also competitions under the rules of the French federation FFESSM, competitions under CMAS rules, and compeitions of many other national federations. Competitions under multiple federations, like for example the Europe Evolution Cup (CAMS/FIPSAS/AIDA), or the Marseille Indoors (AIDA/FFESSM) can be handled by it too.
Competition organizers are welcome to request enhancements and adjustments for their needs.
Tip: the sheet contains VBA macros for the connection to the ranking server, and for other automation. By default, most Excel installation would refuse running macros, and hence the functionality of the worksheet would be limited. The simplest way to enable the VBA macros, is saving the file into a "trusted location". It is usually the place where Excel stores its own templates. Typically the templates are stored in the folder C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Office\Templates\, but the path may vary depending on the version of MS Office, the OS, and on the installation. If you cannot find the Templates folder, or cannot save the file there, you can add a new Trusted Location in Excel - detailed instructions are available in the worksheet (tab Help).
