At APNEA.cz., we respect and protect the privacy of those who use our website and services. You may also have additional privacy rights under state law. This document describes how we handle personally identifiable information that we obtain in connection with the services provided by APNEA.cz

• Service purchase transactions and web site usage information. Cookies are also be used on our web site in order to provide us with information about your use of our web site. Unless you have provided us with your contact information (for example, through online registration or an onlne purchase), these cookies will not be linked to your personally identifiable information.
• Statistical data about your use of our website, programs, and services we offer. This includes the use of the Apnea Media Base and the Apnea Training Manager. We can store keywords you employed, information about records you viewed, modified or added, details about your use of training tables and their results, etc.

• Technical information about your computer or browser so that we may provide you with the correct service you request, to deliver more relevant content, or to format pages to best align your computer's capabilities.

When We May Share the Information You Provide:

APNEA.cz does not share your personally identifiable information with third parties for their promotional use. We may share your information in order to provide a service you've asked us to perfrom, pursuant to your consent, or as otherwise permitted by law. Accordingly, we may share information we collect as follows:

• Within APNEA.cz, including among our subsidiaries. We may share information about you, and the services you have purchased from us, among APNEA.cz and our subsidiaries, all of whom adhere to the privacy policies described in this privacy notice.
• Within APNEA.cz user base. We may share information about you, and about your use of our website and services with other users or visitors. You can verify and change (with paid account types), which information we may share, in your Profile configuration.
• With service providers. In some cases, we employ service providers to provide a product you order, to fulfill a service you request, or to accept payments for our services. Examples include delivering products, offering online software, or sending e-mails on our behalf. While this may require us to share some of your information, these service providers are strictly prohibited from using your information other than to act on our behalf.
• For legal reasons. In some cases we may be required to disclose certain information to comply with the law, an investigation, or a legal process, such as a court order, subpoena, search warrant, or law enforcement request.

Our Security Safeguards

We use industry-standard physical, electronic and procedural safeguards to protect the personally identifiable information that you have provided to us from loss, misuse, or unauthorized alteration. It is our policy to prohibit employees from accessing your personally identifiable information unless there is a business reason to do so. Whenever we prompt you to transmit sensitive information to us through our web site, we support encryption of your data as it is transmitted.

Your sensitive personally identifiable data (for example name, address, e-mail address) are never stored on the server in plain text, but rather always encrypted with the use of a high grade security algorithm. Therefore the data remains safe even in an unlikely case of a security breach into our server.

Passwords are stored with the use of one-way encryption algorithm (hash) and cannot be decrypted by anyone. In case of a password loss, we have to generate a new password for you, and send to the originally registered e-mail address. Since the e-mail transfer may be vulnerable, we recommend that you change the generated password immediately online in your Profile Configuration. Additionally to the one way hash encryption, the hashed passwords are strongly encrypted second time so even if an intruder managed to access the database, he could not use the hashes for trying hash-to-hash matches.

Owners of paid accounts of the PRO type can store most of their personal data in an encrypted from. Encrypted data is then accessible only to persons knowing the corresponding password.
